Website and chat show analysis

http://www.illmanors.com/#scene-0
Website
On the website the things it includes are:

  • Trailer
  • Synopsis
  • Ben Drew information
  • Stills
  • Videos
  • Buy now
  • Links
  • Reactions
  • Album
I believe all of these are included for certain things. But they all have the main idea of trying to persuade the viewers into going to watch the movie. The trailer would give you a sneak peak of what the movie is about. the synopsis will include a brief summary of what the story line is. Ben Drew information is included as he is a famous music artist so this may appeal to some of his fans. You then get stills which is also images of the characters to see how they look like. Then videos of insights into the story line again. A buy now section if you would want to buy it. Links to other websites such as Plan B's own website if you really like him and are a big fan. Reactions would include quotes from sources such as movie stars and newspapers and magazines. Finally the Ill Manors album which is Plan B's album which also relates to the movie.
The website makes use of synergy as it uses many different ways of promoting the film. These ways are trailers, videos, links and also Facebook and Twitter in where you can win prizes. So by using the Twitter example you would have to follow their Twitter account to win prizes almost as if they are making you follow them and by following them you would also find out about more about the movie for example.

The Jonathan Ross would target psychographic groups which would be mainly mainstreamers. I say this as Jonathan Ross is shown on Saturday at between 9 and 10pm which is sort of near prime time for when people watch TV. It also attracts a wide range of audiences due to the fact it as many different famous people on the show. The main psychographic group for Soccer AM would be aspirers and strugglers, I say this because aspirers may aspire to be like the individuals on Soccer AM which could be mainly footballers and strugglers because the programme is at 10am in the morning and try to seek escape and in Soccer AM it is not a serious show and is more funny and they could seek escape from this, also the famous people on Soccer AM would not be as famous as people on the Jonathan Ross show. The demographic group to Jonathan Ross would be B, C1, C2. I say this as these are mainly people in the middle class and Jonathan Ross and the guests on the show would be people these demographic groups would know of. For Soccer AM I would say C2, D, E as they are more lower class and Soccer AM comes on at Sky 1 which is a free channel so they would be able to watch it.

Jonathan Ross show is broadcasted on ITV1 which is one of the leading TV channels in England and is also on at prime time on a Saturday night, this shows how big his programme is as he gets this main slot. Soccer AM is broadcasted on Saturdays in the morning and on Sky 1 which is on before a early kick off in football, so it links within the sport itself.

The audience appeal would be different on each different show. In Jonathan Ross he speaks in a more political way and it looks as if he is watching what he is saying as he is on a big show. However he is different on Soccer AM as he speaks in a different type of jargon but not majorly different and kind of as a joke with the presenters as it is a less serious show. On Jonathan Ross he talks about society and on Soccer AM he talks about his albums and music. He is similar in both texts as he tries to get messages across to the viewers and different in the way that he speaks about different stuff and about different things.
