Plan B radio 1 interview

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00pvgb9

In this BBC Radio 1 interview from Fearne Cotton with Plan B they talk about his film, his music and his link with Ill manors and how he got the soundtrack to the Ill Manors movie.

Plan B first talks about how he is in the making of Ill manors and still doing the finishing touches to the movie by doing little parts within the movie. He also talks about how he is lacking sleep as he is also trying to complete his album which links to the movie called ill manors. His latest single which he also talks about is called ill manors and Fearne then gives a little snippet of the song and then says the song is going to be played everyday of that week so that Plan B is being promoted as well as his movie and his album. This is the difference between radio stations and TV programmes for example as Radio stations are always being played and could benefit the artist more however it is being played to a smaller audience than say someone at Jonathan Ross.

Plan B then goes on to talk about how is song Ill manors was influenced by a German artist called Peter Fox. From the song you can tell the both of the songs have similar beats but Plan B goes on to talk about how he wanted to put his own spin on the song and make it more British in which he did. He also shows how thankful he was in how he was allowed to use the song. From the radio 1 interview we can see that it is different to what we have seen before in shows such as Jonathan Ross as in other shows he just doesn't talk about his music and film but also other political stuff. However as he is on radio 1 and it is based around music he is going to predominantly talk about his music, which includes his single, album and film which is all a synergy as it all links together to promote similar things.
